Tursunkhon Ja’farova was born in August 1915 in the Namangan region. From 1931 to 1940, she worked at the Namangan regional musical drama and comedy theater, and from 1941 at the Mukimiy theater. The actress played various roles in such plays as "Nodira", "Leyli and Majnun", "Halima", "Gulsara" and "Tashbolta oşık".
Tursunkhon Ja’farova, who starred in the film "Ikkinchi bahor" in 1959, also played a role in the film "Yor-Yor" five years later. From 1969 to 1972, she participated in the films "Thirteen Poplar Street" and "Shashmaqom".
Tursunkhon Ja'farova, who was awarded the title of People's Artist of Uzbekistan, participated in the films "Sherali and Oybarchin" and "Olmos kamar" in 1986-1989. She also starred in such films as "Bring Back My Grandma" and "Kelinlar qoz'goloni". Tursunkhon Ja'farova died in 1997.
