Tender for the purchase of medical equipment worth 14 billion soums has been canceled
Based on an appeal from "Skymed-Technologies" LLC, the Competition Committee reviewed a tender conducted for the purchase of medical equipment, where the state institution Procurement Center under the Ministry of Health acted as the customer.
The initial value of the tender was 14 billion soums. During the investigation, the compliance of the trade with the requirements of the Law "On Competition" was examined.
As a result, it was established that the Procurement Center violated the requirements of Article 29 of this law. Specifically, actions that restrict or could lead to the restriction of competition in the bidding process were recorded.
As a result of the measures taken regarding the identified circumstances, the tender conducted by the state institution Procurement Center was canceled in accordance with the established procedure.
The study by the Competition Committee was carried out on the basis of the appeal, and after the violation of the law was identified, measures were taken to cancel the tender.
