Tashkent Region Discusses Investment with Chinese Firms

**Tashkent Region Holds Investment Talks with Chinese Companies**

Chinese firms are weighing opportunities to take part in investment and manufacturing projects in the Tashkent Region, UzDaily.uz reported. Issues of bilateral cooperation were raised at a meeting on 4 September 2026 between the Deputy Khokim of the Tashkent Region, Jakhongir Mamajonov, and representatives of Chinese business.

The meeting brought together representatives of 15 Chinese companies and organizations. The delegation included heads of enterprises engaged in the production of heating and gas equipment, thermal technologies, industrial components, and electronic devices. Also present were representatives of companies involved in gas sensor manufacturing, certification services, and international supply chains.

During the discussions, the Chinese side was briefed on the investment potential of the Tashkent Region. Special emphasis was placed on the region’s manufacturing capacity and the conditions created for foreign investors. The sides also reviewed possible areas of cooperation and the potential launch of joint projects with Chinese businesses.

A key topic of the talks was the establishment of modern manufacturing enterprises in the Tashkent Region. The participants discussed the possibility of setting up localized production of heating systems and gas equipment. In addition, the parties considered matters related to expanding industrial cooperation and introducing advanced technologies.

At the end of the meeting, the sides agreed to study the presented investment proposals in detail and to continue negotiations on promising areas of cooperation. They also agreed to build practical interaction for the implementation of joint investment projects in the Tashkent Region.
