Tashkent leads the real estate market: the capital generates almost 63% of the country's specialized services
In the eight months of 2026, the volume of real estate services in Uzbekistan reached 22.3 trillion soums. Of this amount, 14 trillion soums came from Tashkent — almost two-thirds of the national figure.
The real estate services sector continues to expand. According to data from the National Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Statistics, in January–August 2026, the volume of such services grew by 13.8% compared to the same period last year.
At the same time, the regional structure shows how noticeably this sector is concentrated in the capital. Tashkent is significantly ahead not only of individual regions, but also of all other regions of the country combined in terms of the volume of specialized services.
The capital accounted for about 62.8% of the national figure. All other regions combined accounted for approximately 8.3 trillion soums, or 37.2%.
Tashkent Region came in second, with the volume of real estate services amounting to 1.7 trillion soums. This is almost 8.2 times less than in the capital.
Samarkand and Fergana regions showed identical results — 1 trillion soums each.
They are followed by Andijan Region with 698.6 billion soums, Kashkadarya — with 568.4 billion, Namangan — with 529.1 billion, Bukhara — with 527.7 billion, and Surkhandarya — with 493.7 billion soums.
In Khorezm Region, the volume of such services amounted to 417.4 billion soums, in the Republic of Karakalpakstan — 390.4 billion, in Navoiy Region — 360.9 billion, and in Jizzakh — 356.3 billion soums.
Last on the regional list is Syrdarya Region, where the indicator reached 212 billion soums.
Thus, in January–August 2026, out of every 100 soums of real estate services provided in the country, about 63 soums were accounted for by Tashkent. The remaining regions shared the rest of the national volume among themselves.
