Tashkent honored the memory of the Pakhtakor team that perished in 1979.

In the capital of Uzbekistan, flowers were laid at memorials located at the Botkin Cemetery and near the Pakhtakor Stadium. The event commemorated the tragic events of August 11, 1979.

Representatives of the football community, current players, experts, club veterans, and fans participated in the ceremony dedicated to the memory of the 1979 Pakhtakor team.
