In recent days, three workers were pulled out from inside the tunnel. On the tenth day of the tragedy, another woman was found under the ruins of her home.

In Nepal, nine days after a devastating flood, two workers have been rescued — they were trapped in the tunnel of the "Trishuli 3A" hydroelectric power station. Reuters, citing the Nepalese army, reports that they were found approximately 170 meters away from the tunnel entrance. The victims were taken to a military hospital in Kathmandu. Rescuers also discovered the body of another person next to them.
On August 26, a landslide occurred in the mountainous region on the border of Nepal and China, after which a powerful torrent of mud, stones, and water flowed along the Trishuli River valley. The natural disaster destroyed houses, roads, bridges, and energy infrastructure facilities. According to the latest data, the death toll has reached 1,344 people, and about 5,000 people are considered missing. The damage caused by the disaster is estimated at 2.56 billion dollars.
People who were at the HEP site at the time of the disaster were left in an especially difficult situation: about 900 workers went missing, and officials estimate that about 500 of them are trapped in underground tunnels.
