Some pharmacies in Tashkent inflated prices by up to 6 times

During "mystery shopper" operations, the Committee for Competition Development and Consumer Protection established that some pharmacies in Tashkent had marked up medicine prices by up to 6 times.

Some pharmacies in Tashkent inflated the prices of medicines by up to 6 times, the Committee for Competition Development and Consumer Protection of Uzbekistan reported following "mystery shopper" operations.

The committee reported that it had sent directives and inquiries to the authorities responsible for licensing pharmacy activities.
