Expired medicines found in Tashkent pharmacies
Based on advertisements for medicines posted on a Telegram bot, inspections were conducted at a number of pharmacies in Tashkent. Serious violations were uncovered during the raids.

As a result of inspections conducted in pharmacies in Tashkent, it was revealed that expired and uncertified medicines are being sold. This was reported by the press service of the State Institution Center for the Safety of Pharmaceutical Products under the Ministry of Health.
The center conducted inspections in a number of pharmacies in Tashkent based on advertisements in the "Arzon apteka" Telegram bot. As a result, 86 types of medicines without certificates of conformity were identified in 4 pharmacies and removed from sale. Also, during the control measures, it was revealed that 5 types of medicines with expired expiration dates were on sale.
The center noted that the use of such medicines can lead to unexpected and serious negative consequences. In particular, if the expiration date, storage conditions, quality and legal circulation of the medicine are not controlled, it poses a real threat to human health.
In addition, in another case, it was found that a pharmacy continued to operate despite the expiration of its license for the retail sale of medicines and medical supplies.
The center urged citizens to purchase medicines only from legally operating pharmacies and not to trust dubious advertisements on the Internet and social networks. It was also emphasized the importance of paying attention to documents confirming the legality and quality of the medicine.
