SOCAR develops network of gas stations in Uzbekistan

A cooperation agreement has been signed between Uzbekneftegaz and the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) to develop a network of gas stations for cars in Uzbekistan.

According to the agreement signed at the IV Interregional Forum between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, the parties have defined the main principles of cooperation in this area.

In particular, the agreement provides for a joint study and assessment of the opportunities for developing a modern gas station network in Uzbekistan, identifying promising locations and facilities, as well as jointly considering acceptable business models and practical mechanisms for project implementation.

This cooperation will serve to further strengthen mutually beneficial relations between Uzbekneftegaz JSC and SOCAR and open up new opportunities for the development of Uzbekistan's fuel infrastructure.
