Six Uzbek women rescued from a brothel in Hyderabad, India

Six female citizens of Uzbekistan have been rescued from a brothel in Hyderabad, India
Six women from Uzbekistan were found in a hotel in the Gachibowli area of Hyderabad, India, where police believe an illegal brothel was operating. Law enforcement authorities detained two men suspected of organizing this illegal business.
The Gachibowli police, together with officers from the anti-human trafficking unit, conducted a raid after receiving intelligence about the hotel.
During the inspection, law enforcement officers discovered six female citizens of Uzbekistan and removed them from the hotel.
According to the police, Rammohan Reddy and Nikhil may be involved in organizing the illegal activity. Presumably, they rented rooms in the hotel and attracted clients there from various states of India.
As the victims said, they were brought to Hyderabad for a nominal fee. At the same time, the documents of all six were checked: their passports and visas turned out to be valid. The women arrived in India on tourist visas.
After questioning the citizens of Uzbekistan, the police initiated cases under human trafficking charges. The investigation is establishing the circumstances of the incident and searching for other participants in the scheme.
This is not the first such case in Hyderabad. Earlier, police raided a forced exploitation ring operating in a hotel in the Banjara Hills area. During the operation, three women were rescued, among whom was a citizen of Uzbekistan.
