The captain of the Uzbekistan national team, Eldor Shomurodov, scored his fourth goal in four matches for Istanbul's Basaksehir in the Turkish championship. In the match of the fourth round, his team lost at home to Galatasaray with a score of 2-3.

The score was opened in the 16th minute by Galatasaray forward Victor Osimhen. Shomurodov equalized in the 66th minute, converting a penalty kick.

Five minutes later, Lucas Torreira put Galatasaray ahead again. In the 76th minute, the team's defender Davinson Sánchez sent the ball into his own net, making the score level once more.

The decisive goal at the end of the match was scored by Gabriel Sara.

Uzbekistan national team midfielder Abbosbek Fayzullaev started for Basaksehir and spent 74 minutes on the pitch before being substituted.
