Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan

On October 8, within the framework of the events taking place in the city of Avaza, Turkmenistan, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan.

During the meeting, current aspects of further expanding Uzbekistan-Armenia multifaceted relations were reviewed.

It was noted with satisfaction that active contacts have been established at various levels. It was emphasized that political consultations between the two countries were recently held.

It was mentioned that the volume of mutual trade is increasing, and 80 enterprises with the participation of Armenian capital are successfully operating in our country. Direct flights have been established between the capitals.

The importance of promoting cooperation projects in the fields of agriculture, jewelry, light industry, pharmaceuticals, chemistry, and tourism was emphasized.

In this regard, the need to effectively organize the next meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission and joint business events was noted.

The parties also discussed issues of international importance and cooperation within the framework of multilateral organizations.
