Shavkat Mirziyoyev, together with his spouse, attended a cultural program within the framework of the OTS Ankara Summit, alongside the heads of delegations of the Organization of Turkic States member countries and their spouses.
The leaders opened the Park of Civilization of Turkic States at the Beştepe complex in the city of Ankara.
Traditional yurts and examples of folk applied arts are displayed in the pavilions of the Turkic states set up in the park.
They reflect the rich historical, cultural, and architectural heritage, achievements in science and enlightenment, unique traditions, and present-day development of the Turkic peoples.
The heads of state viewed a replica of the ancient Orkhon inscriptions, considered a written monument of the Turkic peoples. Demonstrations of national games, archers, and warriors in historical costumes took place at the venue. Following this, the heads of state planted oak saplings.
Afterward, the leaders visited the Malazgirt Center. Its name is a reference to the Battle of Manzikert on August 26, 1071, which holds significant importance in the history of the Turkic peoples.
The distinguished guests were presented with an epic show featuring horsemen, acrobats, and stunt performers, as well as horses brought from the organization's member countries.
