Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated internal affairs personnel and veterans

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev sent congratulations to internal affairs personnel and veterans on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the establishment of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The head of state expressed gratitude to representatives of the sphere for their selfless service in ensuring public peace and protecting the rights and interests of citizens.

"The fact that ordinary people address you with trust and find peace of mind from this is the highest evaluation given to your service," the congratulation reads.

The President stressed that no crimes were committed in nearly half of the country's neighborhoods (mahallas) this year. It was noted that this is the result of the joint work of internal affairs officers, mahalla activists, and the population.

Attention was also drawn to the tasks of using artificial intelligence and digital technologies in ensuring public safety, as well as combating cybercrime, drug addiction, and organized crime.

The head of state called on internal affairs officers to strictly observe the law, treat citizens with respect, and strengthen the people's trust.

The services of veterans of the sphere were also specifically recognized in the congratulation.
