“May the value of your service always be high!” – Shavkat Mirziyoyev sent congratulations to internal affairs personnel and veterans

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev sent a congratulatory message to the staff and veterans of the internal affairs bodies, greeting them on the 35th anniversary of the establishment of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

“May the value of your service always be high!” – Shavkat Mirziyoyev sent congratulations to internal affairs officers and veterans

At the beginning of the congratulations, the head of state expressed sincere gratitude to all staff of the system for their service in ensuring public peace and protecting the rights and interests of citizens.

“Of course, we all know well that your daily selfless work and contribution lie behind the peace of mind of parents sending their children to school in our country, and the strengthening of a peaceful life in our neighborhoods.

The fact that ordinary people turn to you with trust and find comfort from this is the highest evaluation given to your service.

Over the past thirty-five years, great experience has been accumulated in the system, and traditions of courage and loyalty have been formed. Today’s generation of employees is enriching these traditions based on modern knowledge and approaches.

The fact that no crimes were committed in nearly half of our neighborhoods this year is the result of the joint work of internal affairs officers, neighborhood activists, and the population. Now, we need to expand this experience and consistently continue our work to create a safe environment in every neighborhood.

The use of digital technologies and artificial intelligence capabilities in ensuring public safety is expanding. Measures to detect cybercrimes early, prevent them, and protect citizens’ property are being strengthened.

Fighting drug abuse and organized crime, especially protecting our youth from the influence of these evils, remains an important task for us. This requires modern knowledge and thorough preparation. Therefore, in personnel training, we attach great importance to linking theory with practice, developing dual education, and using the experience of local and foreign specialists.

Our goals on the path of national development also set new tasks before the internal affairs bodies. I expect initiative from you in crime prevention, strict discipline, and honesty in service.

Operating in accordance with the principle ‘Understand yourself and value others’ is also of great importance for the internal affairs sector. This means that the officer preserves professional honor, strictly complies with the law, and treats every person with respect.

Listening attentively to a citizen who addresses you and helping to resolve their problem legally strengthens the people's trust in the system. Because people draw conclusions about the entire system from the demeanor and actions of a single employee.
