The program of Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev's working visit to Bishkek has concluded, and the head of state returned to Tashkent.

The highlight of the trip was his participation in the anniversary meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. At this meeting, the results of the SCO's quarter-century development were summarized and priority areas for further cooperation were identified.

The President of Uzbekistan put forward a number of proposals aimed at deepening industrial cooperation, developing transport connectivity, digital technologies, and artificial intelligence, as well as strengthening food, water, and energy security.

Following the meeting, the Bishkek Declaration and a number of documents aimed at expanding cooperation in key areas were adopted. The leader of Uzbekistan also addressed the "SCO Plus" meeting, where he emphasized the need to maintain the central and coordinating role of the United Nations and proposed developing this format as a platform for interregional dialogue.

On the sidelines of the summit, talks were held with Chinese President Xi Jinping, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif. Meetings were also held with UN Secretary-General António Guterres and US Special Presidential Envoy for South and Central Asia Sergio Gore.

As part of his visit, the head of state and his wife attended the opening ceremony of the 6th World Nomad Games. Following the events at Manas International Airport, the President of Uzbekistan and his wife were seen off by Adylbek Kasymaliev, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the Presidential Administration of Kyrgyzstan, and other officials.
