Satpayev loaned to Championship club

18-year-old Kazakh striker Dastan Satpayev will spend the 2026/2027 season on loan at Burnley, the club's press service reported.

According to Romano, the agreement between the clubs does not stipulate the right to buy the player. Satpayev will return to the London club at the end of next season.

Burnley finished the 2025/2026 English Premier League season in 19th place, one place above the last place in the standings, leaving the top division and relegating to the Championship.

Satpayev, who previously played for Kairat, joined Chelsea this summer. According to Transfermarkt, the player's market value is 3.5 million euros.

For information, Chelsea bought Satpayev from Kairat in January 2025 for 4.3 million euros. The Kazakh striker scored his first goal for the London club in a friendly match against Western Sydney.
