“Sarvar aka’s first family was not broken up because of me.” Tatyana Zaytseva on the reason for her divorce and becoming a victim of fraud

Singer Tatyana Zaytseva gave an interview to the YouTube show “Mirsodiqova bilan”. During the conversation, she spoke about the reasons for her divorce from her husband, how women today suffer from increasing oncological diseases as a result of suppressing their grievances, and how she became a victim of fraud.

### “I completed my bachelor’s degree at the Faculty of Hydromelioration”

— I received my first music lessons from my mother. However, my mother always used to say: “A person must definitely acquire a proper profession. If you work on yourself later, you can still sing. It is better to have a main specialty anyway.” Even though my mother was a person from the field of music, she worked as an accountant at the Institute of Irrigation and Melioration. Therefore, wanting me to be near her, she wanted me to enter the same institute as well. After being admitted to the Faculty of Hydromelioration, I realized that this was not my field. This direction is especially difficult for girls.

However, if a person genuinely strives, they find their destiny within those walls too. Because my creative work began at that very institute. I started participating in concerts there, and later joined the “O‘zbegim yoshlari” ensemble from there. The history of my joining this group was also very interesting. When I was studying in my second year, I often visited the assembly hall. Because there was a grand piano and microphones there, and my passion for art was very high.

One day, when I went to the hall, I came across a rehearsal taking place. Very beautiful girls in khan-atlas dresses were dancing and singing songs. A woman was also sitting at the edge of the hall. Intrigued, I approached this woman (I think she was a teacher) and asked what event they were preparing for. She said they were preparing for the broadcast “Qizlar davrasi”. I asked her if I could participate too. Since our conversation was in Russian, she was interested in whether I could say anything in Uzbek. I told them that I knew all of Yulduz Usmonova’s songs, and then sang the song “Hech kimga bermaymiz seni, O‘zbekiston”. After the woman listened to me, she said that my pronunciation was a bit poor, but my smile was beautiful, and there was light in my eyes. Then she instructed me to learn the song “Marvarid” and accepted me into the ensemble.

### “I was not the reason for Sarvar aka’s divorce from his first marriage”

— Sarvar aka previously dated a girl and then married her. However, they divorced later. Although we did not talk to each other much at first, when we sang together on stage, a kind of affection awoke between us. At that time, we felt something inside us. A year and a half later, he proposed marriage. His composure and seriousness attracted me. My mother also liked these qualities of his. It always seemed interesting to me why Sarvar aka conducted himself so calmly and composedly. Being emotional by nature, his calm demeanor attracted me, and I fell in love with him because of this contrast. Later, however, this situation caused me to be unable to find myself, says the singer.

When I had just joined the group “Sharq”, I didn’t even know about Sarvar aka’s personal life. Because he was always a mysterious, closed person. That is, he would not bring his inner experiences outside. Many times I would ask him questions like, “Sarvar, why do you always walk around looking like you’re in a bad mood? Is your inner world so closed that it cannot be opened?” Although we lived and created together with that person for 16 years, during all that time I strove to understand him, and in the end, I did understand him. But at the same time, I also understood myself, she says.

### “Sarvar aka often used to say that psychologists ruined my life”

— Psychology brought very great benefit to my life. Because at that time my mental state was so bad that if it weren’t for psychologists, I might even have died. Fortunately, good specialists met me on my path. Fortunately, I communicated a lot with God, shared my pain. All of this was for the best. Now I feel very good and happy. But Sarvar aka often used to say, “Your psychologists ruined your life.” That is his personal opinion, but in reality, it is not like that.

The people around me — those at work, acquaintances — turned away from me. Almost no one was left in my life. Perhaps they too thought that I had become overly absorbed in psychology. It would have been easier if someone had spoken to me openly about this, because I love the truth.

Our marriage was never easy. When I remember, there were always difficulties. After all, a person should strive to pass through these trials, shouldn't they? If one asks oneself “why am I not happy?”, what is wrong with that? But those around understand this as complaining about one's life. Searching for answers to questions that trouble oneself is not a bad thing, she says.

### “Because most women live enduring their husbands and grieving deep inside, oncological diseases have increased among women”

— Now oncological diseases have increased among our women. One of the reasons for this is that very many women live in grief. Some even contract such diseases because they live together by force while hating their husbands. This living by enduring under compulsion eats away at their body from the inside.

### “I have always been strong, but I wanted to be a delicate woman”

— Sarvar aka and I often tried to speak openly. Once he said, “Because you control me so much, I feel as if my self-confidence as a man is lost. You always strive to be strong.” Back then, I replied to him, “I’m glad you mentioned this, because I also want to feel like a delicate and beautiful woman.”

To be honest, it turns out I had always been such a strong woman. Although I strived for delicacy, I was very patient by nature. I often advised Sarvar aka, and perhaps this too seemed awkward to him. After our conversation back then, I realized that a woman should spend her energy only on herself, and that a man knows very well what to do even without a woman’s control.

In general, everyone should perform their duty voluntarily, without anyone’s control; there is no need to advise anyone. If a man knows his duty and a woman is in her place, life becomes beautiful. That is when real love appears in the family. Only one thing: everyone must perform their duty not out of compulsion, but sincerely, from the heart. That is when their life will be happy.

### “I became a victim of fraud”

— A year ago, I was deceived by fraudsters. Starting a new business, I wanted to open my vocal course. The son of one of my teachers offered to help me with a new project. That young man said, “I have acquaintances in America. With their help, we will prepare such a course that we will manage to sell everything within three months.” I believed his words. But I told him that I had no money with me right now. He, on the other hand, advised that I should take a loan or credit. Listening to the young man’s words, I took both a debt and a credit and gave the money to him. However, later he turned out to be a fraudster and cheated me out of a large amount of money.

This was an unexpected blow for me. When I asked Sarvar aka for help, he refused to help, saying “you made your bed, now lie in it.” True, I made a mistake myself, I am the guilty one myself. Currently, a part of my debts remains, says the singer Tatyana Zaytseva.
