Saida Mirziyoyeva: We must turn agreements into investments and new jobs
A meeting of the American-Uzbekistan Business and Investment Council was held with the participation of President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio. According to Saida Mirziyoyeva, opportunities for investing, business development, and implementing joint projects were discussed at the meeting with representatives of more than a hundred companies.

Head of the Presidential Administration Saida Mirziyoyeva emphasized that the establishment of the Council opens up new opportunities for expanding the partnership between the two countries. She expressed her gratitude to the President of Uzbekistan for the trust placed in her.
She also expressed special gratitude to Marco Rubio, his wife Jeanette, and Sergio Gor for supporting the initiative, for their attention to Uzbekistan, and for their readiness to expand cooperation.
Saida Mirziyoyeva noted that the main focus should now be on implementing the reached agreements.
"Now our main task is to turn these reached agreements into concrete practical results, that is, investments, modern enterprises, and new jobs. This is our goal in developing cooperation with the USA," she said.
