On September 2, Saida Mirziyoyeva, together with Sheikha Al-Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, attended the opening of the exhibition "Uzbekistan: Heritage in Motion" at the Qatar Museum of Islamic Art.

This exhibition includes unique exhibits from the museums of Uzbekistan and Qatari collections. It displays rare monuments reflecting historical stages from the pre-Islamic era, the Samanid and Timurid eras to the present day, as well as examples of traditional crafts and textile art.

The head of the Presidential Administration noted that "This is a convenient opportunity to familiarize the people of Qatar and their guests with our rich history and heritage, as well as an important step towards further developing Uzbek-Qatar cultural ties."

The same day also saw the opening of the "Explore Uzbekistan" exhibition, dedicated to the results of the creative journey of seven Qatari artisans to Tashkent, Samarkand and Bukhara.

The exhibition features exquisite jewelry, calligraphy, exquisite carpets, and a collection of photographs reflecting the impressions of the trip, created by masters inspired by the rich culture and traditions of Uzbekistan.
