Saida Mirziyoyeva and Jeanette Rubio visited the historical monuments of Samarkand

Saida Mirziyoyeva introduced Jeanette Rubio, the wife of US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, to the historical monuments and examples of national craftsmanship of Samarkand. She expressed hope that the guest would leave with unforgettable impressions of Uzbekistan and the Uzbek people.

On October 19, Head of the Presidential Administration Saida Mirziyoyeva, together with Jeanette Rubio, the wife of the US Secretary of State, visited the historical monuments of Samarkand.

"I accompanied our dear guest with the intention of introducing her to the rich history, timeless traditions of this ancient and unique city, as well as the art of skilled craftsmen.

I hope that Mrs. Jeanette was left with unforgettable impressions of Uzbekistan and our hospitable people," she wrote.
