Russia struck Kyiv with ballistic missiles
On the night of September 30, Russian troops attacked Kyiv and the Kyiv region with missiles and drones. According to Ukrainian officials, the body of a child was found under the ruins of a destroyed private house in Vyshhorod, and three other people were rescued alive.

According to DW, Timur Tkachenko, the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, reported that a man, a woman, and another child were pulled out alive from under the rubble in Vyshhorod. They are receiving medical assistance.
Tkachenko said that several private houses were damaged and destroyed in the Vyshhorod district of the region. Fires broke out in residential buildings and garages.
In the Bucha district, three private houses, 11 cars, and two warehouses were damaged. A fire also occurred in this area. Additionally, the consequences of the attack were recorded at infrastructure facilities in the Bucha, Vyshhorod, and Obukhiv districts.
Kyiv itself was also targeted with ballistic missiles tonight. The city's mayor, Vitali Klitschko, said that fires broke out in the area of private residential buildings in the Svyatoshyn district, in a shop in the Obolon district, and in a warehouse building in the Holosiiv district.
Klitschko reported that two people were injured in Kyiv, one of whom — a woman — was hospitalized.
Kyiv and its surroundings under attack for several days
On September 27, a drone struck the "Stolychnyi" market located in the village of Sofiyivska Borshchahivka near Kyiv. According to Ukrainian officials, two people were killed and 10 others were injured. On the same day, several districts of Kyiv were also attacked by drones, injuring dozens of people.
On the night of September 28, the Ukrainian capital was attacked by drones again, and several people were injured. During the day, the building of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine was struck, causing a major fire. Klitschko stated that as a result of the attacks on September 28, two people were killed and 26 were injured in Kyiv.
On the night of September 29, the capital was hit by missiles and drones again. Missile debris fell near a residential building, and a drone landed on the roadway. No information was received about casualties or injuries in that attack.
