On the evening of October 12, Russian troops also attacked Kyiv with ballistic missiles and drones.
According to city mayor Vitali Klitschko, in the Darnytskyi district, a drone struck between the 12th and 16th floors of a 25-story building. As a result of the attack, 2 people were killed and 11 others were injured.
According to the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office, the deceased were a 59-year-old woman and another person who was in a car next to the attacked high-rise building.
A repeated strike with ballistic missiles was also carried out on Kyiv. The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that it could not announce the air raid alert in advance because information about the missile launches from Russian territory was not received in time.
