Russia resumed diesel fuel supplies to Uzbekistan: imports amounted to 26 thousand tons
In September 2026, Uzbekistan imported 26 thousand tons of diesel fuel from Russia after a one-month break. This was reported by the "Geostatistika" Telegram channel. Overall, exports of Russian diesel to Mongolia and Central Asian countries increased by 15.1% to 427 thousand tons.
In August, there were no supplies of Russian diesel fuel to Uzbekistan. In September, they resumed, and the republic was once again among the recipients of Russian petroleum products in these directions.
The largest volume went to Mongolia, which received 220 thousand tons of diesel. Kazakhstan imported 77 thousand tons, Kyrgyzstan — 67 thousand, Tajikistan — 38 thousand tons.
In August, the total volume of supplies across the five directions was 371 thousand tons. At the same time, the dynamics were uneven: supplies to Kazakhstan increased, while those to Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan decreased.
If considering only the four Central Asian countries specified in the statistics, their combined import of Russian diesel amounted to about 208 thousand tons. Uzbekistan accounted for 26 thousand tons — approximately 12.5% of this volume.
At the same time, import data alone does not allow for assessing the sufficiency of Uzbekistan's domestic fuel market. To do so, it is necessary to take into account domestic production, supplies from other countries, stocks, and consumption.
