Rubio: "Saida is an extraordinarily talented, smart, and hardworking person"

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio highly praised the activities of Saida Mirziyoyeva, the Head of the Administration of the President of Uzbekistan, at a business forum in Samarkand.

In his speech, he expressed special gratitude to the co-chairs of the US–Uzbekistan Business and Investment Council — US Presidential Special Envoy Sergio Gor and Saida Mirziyoyeva.

"We just call her Saida, because we see her in so many places, at so many events. She is an extraordinarily talented, smart, and hardworking person. Thank you both for the time and energy you have dedicated to this work," said Rubio.

According to the US Secretary of State, their efforts and cooperation with the C5+1 group serve to unite the capabilities of states and the private sector, as well as to develop business ties between the countries.

"We are independent and sovereign nations. Each of us wants what is best for our own country and our own people. It is precisely these shared values and goals that allow us to effectively develop our relations," Marco Rubio said.
