Ronaldinho decided to return to football at the age of 46 in order to score the 300th goal of his career.

Former Brazilian international Ronaldinho, 46, announced his return to football at the age of 46, joining Italian third-division side Ravenna. The Brazilian also became a co-owner of the club and expressed his readiness to take the field to score his 300th professional goal.
The player's presentation, dubbed "Ronaldinho Day," drew thousands of fans to the beach in Ravenna despite the rainy weather.
Ronaldinho stated that he is in good physical condition and is committed to helping the team achieve success. However, he did not confirm his participation in the games, noting that the final decision rests with the coach. "If I can score my 300th goal, it will be even more wonderful," Ronaldinho said.
Ravenna president Ignazio Cipriani announced that Ronaldinho will not play in the season opener against Reggiana on August 24. According to him, the Brazilian's involvement in the club's project is not limited to promoting the team: Ronaldinho intends to try to score the final goal of his career.
Ronaldinho played his last official match in September 2015 for Brazilian side Fluminense. During his career, he played for clubs such as Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona, and Milan, winning the World Cup in 2002 and the Ballon d'Or in 2005.
Last season, Ravenna finished third in their Serie C group. The club hopes to return to the second division, where they have not played since 2008.
