Starting October 29, 2026, temporary restrictions on the import of construction materials have been lifted in Kyrgyzstan. This was reported by the Ministry of Investment, Industry, and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The import ban on 14 product categories, including building blocks and bricks, slabs and tiles, glass products, and electric cables, has been removed.

According to the ministry, the lifting of restrictions opens up additional opportunities for Uzbek manufacturers and exporters.

They will be able to increase deliveries to Kyrgyzstan, expand trade ties, and conclude new export contracts.
