Residents of Uzbekistan felt the second earthquake in 24 hours
Residents of four districts of the Andijan region felt an earthquake, the epicenter of which was located in Kyrgyzstan. The tremors were recorded on October 1 at 13:17.
According to the Republican Center for Seismic Forecasting Monitoring, the magnitude was 4.3, and the depth was 10 kilometers. The epicenter was located in Jalal-Abad.
On the territory of Uzbekistan, the tremors were felt with an intensity of 2 points. They were recorded in the Khanabad district at a distance of 68 kilometers from the epicenter, in Kurgantepa — 75, in Pakhtaabad — 80, and in Jalalkuduk — 88 kilometers. The distance to Tashkent is 333 kilometers in a northeasterly direction.
It is also reported that residents of the Surxondaryo region felt an earthquake with its epicenter in Afghanistan. Those tremors occurred on October 1 at 06:29.
