Real Madrid defender Raul Asensio has been fined and disqualified from driving for drink driving, according to Mundo Deportivo.

The incident took place in August 2025 on the island of Gran Canaria. The player was stopped and tested for alcohol, which exceeded the legal limit. According to the court's decision, Asensio will pay a fine of 14,400 euros and will be banned from driving for 8 months.

In addition, another hearing will be held in the coming days against Asensio and three other former Real Madrid academy players. They are accused of distributing intimate videos of two women without their consent.
