**Raheem Sterling could face two years in prison – The Sun**

Former England winger and four-time national champion Raheem Sterling could face up to two years in prison for dangerous driving, possessing banned nitrous oxide in his car and refusing to submit to a breathalyzer test after a road traffic accident, The Sun reports.

The incident occurred on May 28 on the M3 in Hampshire. According to police, Sterling was driving his Lamborghini when he crashed into a roadside barrier. No other cars were damaged or injured in the accident. The footballer has been charged with dangerous driving, possessing banned nitrous oxide in his car and refusing to submit to a breathalyzer test after being arrested. If convicted, he could face up to two years in prison.

The player, who was arrested and released on bail after the incident, will give evidence at Basingstoke Crown Court on September 15.
