Formula 1. Lando Norris takes second win of the season at Dutch Grand Prix

Formula 1: Lando Norris celebrates his second victory of the season at the Dutch Grand Prix

The 12th round of the 2026 Formula 1 season - the Dutch Grand Prix - was held at the Zandvoort circuit in the Netherlands. In this race, McLaren team member and current world champion Lando Norris crossed the finish line first, thus winning his second victory of the current season. The remaining places on the podium were taken by Mercedes representatives - Kimi Antonelli (second place) and George Russell, who has won the Grand Prix twice this season (third place).

Four-time world champion and Red Bull driver Max Verstappen lost control of the track on the third lap and crashed. As a result, he was forced to end the race early.

The victory moved Lando Norris up to fourth in the championship standings with 159 points. Mercedes driver Andrea Kimi Antonelli remains in the lead with 243 points. His teammate George Russell and Ferrari's Lewis Hamilton are second and third with 183 points each.

The next round of the championship will be held in Monza, Italy, from September 4-6.
