The biopharmaceutical company PROMOMED announced the opening of its own legal entity in Tashkent – PROMOMED-PHARMA LLC.

The company aims to strengthen ties with healthcare professionals, the pharmaceutical sector, and business partners through a local presence, as well as to create reliable drug supply chains in Uzbekistan.

PROMOMED Executive Director Eduard Kasyan announced that the new division will employ local specialists. The company strives to create highly skilled jobs and transfer international-level professional knowledge and competencies to local employees.

PROMOMED-PHARMA representatives will be responsible for registration procedures and interaction with regulatory authorities in Uzbekistan. This is expected to accelerate the introduction of modern drugs to the local market, particularly in the fields of metabolic disorders, endocrinology, and oncology.

PROMOMED is also working on establishing its own pharmacovigilance service in Uzbekistan. In addition, the company is developing information support programs for doctors and pharmacists, which will include educational initiatives, scientific events, and interaction with the professional community.

PROMOMED emphasizes that the creation of a local legal entity will ensure more direct interaction with pharmaceutical market participants and a sustainable presence of the company's products in Uzbekistan.

PROMOMED was founded in 2005. Common shares of PJSC Promomed are listed on the Moscow Exchange under the ticker PRMD.

The company's structure includes its own research and development center and the high-tech enterprise Biokhimik. PROMOMED is developing a portfolio of over 360 medicinal products in ten major pharmaceutical market segments.

The company's products span various therapeutic areas, including endocrinology, oncology, neurology, autoimmune diseases, infection treatment, and acute and chronic pain.

The company also develops innovative medicinal products based on its own chemical and biotechnological solutions.
