Preschool classes for children of migrants from Uzbekistan will open in Vladivostok.

Preschool groups will be established in Vladivostok for the children of Uzbek labor migrants. Additionally, a school exchange program between Uzbekistan and Primorsky Krai is planned to resume during the summer holidays starting in 2027.

These topics were discussed during a meeting between Consul General of Uzbekistan Khajiakbar Vakhabov and Minister of Education of Primorsky Krai Elvira Shamonova.

A key outcome of the negotiations was the decision to open specialized classes and courses for preschoolers – children of Uzbek citizens arriving in Primorsky Krai with their parents working in the region.

The parties also reached an agreement to resume the school exchange program starting in 2027. Children from Uzbekistan and Primorsky Krai will spend their summer holidays in health camps on a reciprocal basis.

Furthermore, Uzbekistan and Primorsky Krai intend to establish direct cooperation between the Ministry of Preschool and School Education of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Education of Primorsky Krai.

Earlier, Khajiakbar Vakhabov met with Yevgeny Volosastov, Acting Head of the Russian Foreign Ministry Representative Office in Vladivostok. The main topic of the conversation was the protection of the rights and legitimate interests of Uzbek citizens permanently or temporarily residing in the Far Eastern Federal District.
