Prepayment for electricity and gas for entrepreneurs will be reduced by 15%

Entrepreneurs using meters with an automated accounting system and remote shutdown capabilities from November 1, 2026

The amount of advance payment for electricity and gas for entrepreneurs will be reduced by 15 percent.

In accordance with Decree No. PF-175 of August 27 of this year, a new relaxation is being introduced in the procedure for providing entrepreneurs with electricity and natural gas.

According to it, starting from November 1, 2026, a prepayment mechanism of 15 percent of the monthly consumption will be introduced for entrepreneurs who have installed meters that record electricity and natural gas consumption through an automated system and have the ability to turn it off remotely.

However, this procedure will not apply to entrepreneurs who do not comply with payment discipline.
