Prepayment for electricity and gas for enterprises will be reduced by 15%

Advance payments for electricity and gas for enterprises will be reduced by 15 percent. This was announced at an open dialogue with entrepreneurs in Khorezm, chaired by Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

This decision was made based on the appeals of many entrepreneurs that a 100 percent advance payment for electricity and gas is reducing their working capital. Now, for enterprises connected to the ASKUE and ASKUG systems that have not violated payment discipline, the advance payment amount will be 15 percent.

The head of Uzbekistan noted that the management system in the energy sector is being radically changed. A new system will be introduced in all districts that will work taking into account the current needs and future plans of entrepreneurs.

Also, a new approach to stimulating the growth of contractors and designers in the construction sector will begin next year. According to it, funds in the amount of 5 percent of the minimum wage are planned for each worker-hour, regardless of the construction site.

In addition, the estimate for state facilities provides for a 7 percent profit for contracting companies, and depending on the complexity of the construction, up to 4-7 percent of the cost of the facility is allocated for design work.
