Turkish low-cost carrier Pegasus Airlines plans to launch direct flights from Istanbul to Bukhara and Andijan in December 2026 and to Termez in March 2027, with fares starting at $99, expanding international air connectivity for three Uzbek cities without requiring passengers to travel through Tashkent.

Turkish low-cost airline Pegasus Airlines is set to begin regular flights from Istanbul to Bukhara and Andijan in December 2026, with service to Termez to follow in March 2027, further strengthening direct air connections between Türkiye and Uzbekistan.

As listed on the airline’s official website and mobile app, the first Istanbul–Bukhara flight is planned for December 14, while the Istanbul–Andijan route is scheduled to start on December 18. Flights to Termez are due to begin on March 1, 2027. Tickets are already on sale for all three routes.

Prices begin at $99, though the final fare will vary depending on the travel date, route and seat availability. Under the airline’s basic Light fare, checked baggage and standard cabin baggage are charged separately. Passengers on this fare may take only a small bag of up to 3kg into the cabin free of charge.

The routes are expected to be operated via Istanbul’s Sabiha Gökçen International Airport, giving travelers from Bukhara, Andijan and Termez access to destinations across Europe, including London, Manchester, Paris and Prague, without needing to travel first to Tashkent.

The Civil Aviation Agency’s registry shows that Pegasus Airlines was granted operating permit No. 58-K for passenger transport in Uzbekistan on October 6.

Pegasus Airlines’ move into the Uzbek market comes after several years of interest in opening air links with the country. In 2018, Uzbekistan’s tourism authorities said they were in talks with the Turkish low-cost carrier about the possibility of starting operations in the country.

In 2021, the airline again voiced interest in launching flights to Uzbekistan, including routes intended to support pilgrimage tourism.

Pegasus Airlines is one of Türkiye’s leading low-cost carriers, with operations spanning Europe, the Middle East and Central Asia.
