Passengers planning to return from Russia to Uzbekistan by bus warned

The Ministry of Transport warned passengers planning to return to Tashkent from Moscow, Russia by bus about cases of fraud.

It was reported that recently, cases have been observed on social networks where passengers wishing to return from Moscow to Tashkent via the bus services of "Uzautotrans Service" company are falling into the trap of fraudsters.

It is emphasized that fraudsters are placing announcements about trips on social networks and YouTube channels using photos and video footage of "Uzautotrans Service" company's buses. They tell passengers that they will send them to Tashkent on buses of the state-established "Uzautotrans Service" company. Then, claiming that there are allegedly no tickets left at the ticket offices and that tickets must be purchased directly from them, they offer tickets that are actually several times more expensive than the fixed price.

"Most regrettably, passengers who bought tickets at several times higher prices are being placed onto illegally operating buses," the ministry's report states.

According to the information, "Uzautotrans Service" operates trips from the "Novoyasenevskaya" and "Kotelniki" bus stations in Moscow to the "Tashkent" bus station on Mondays and Thursdays. Tickets can be purchased at the ticket offices of these bus stations, or online through their respective mobile applications and websites.
