Parental fees for public kindergartens increased

By decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, the amount of parental payments for child care in state kindergartens has been increased. The new amounts are not fixed in a fixed amount, but are tied to the base calculation amount. According to Kun.uz calculations, the amount of payments has increased by 6.8 percent. The corresponding decision came into force on August 25.

The amount of payments made by parents for child support in state preschool educational institutions has been increased by the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers.

In this change, payments are not set at a specific amount, but are tied to the basic calculation amount. According to Kun.uz analysis, the amount of payments has increased by 6.8%.

This government decision will come into force on August 25, 2026.

We remind you that kindergarten fees were last increased on June 1, 2024 and January 1, 2025.

Kun.uz presents the previous and new prices in the table below. The new prices were calculated based on the basic calculation amount (440 thousand soums), which will come into force on September 1.
