OTP Group has taken a place in the ranking of Europe's largest banks and Forbes' global top 10

OTP Group, which includes Ipoteka-bank, has taken a place among the top 10 of the world's largest banks. The result showed that the group's financial stability and operational efficiency were highly rated in the international ranking.

OTP Group ranked first among European banks in the large banks category in Forbes’ World’s Top Performing Banks 2026 rating and secured a place in the top 10 in the global rating.

The large banks category includes 56 financial institutions with total assets ranging from 100 to 500 billion dollars. This rating, compiled jointly by Forbes and Statista, evaluates banks over several years based on financial indicators such as growth, profitability, capital, funding, and asset quality.

"This recognition confirms OTP Group's ability to combine rapid growth, high profitability, and long-term stability. It is this very balance that has formed the core of our strategy for many years," said Peter Csányi, CEO of OTP Bank.

OTP Group is one of the leading banking groups in Central and Eastern Europe, as well as one of the fastest-growing banking groups in the region. The group currently operates in 11 countries, including Uzbekistan. In Uzbekistan, the group includes Ipoteka-bank OTP Group. The bank has been leading in terms of profit among the country's banks for the second consecutive quarter. According to the results of the first half of the year, net profit under IFRS amounted to 1.24 trillion soums, which is 43% more compared to the same period last year.

This new recognition by Forbes is another international achievement for OTP Group.

Earlier in 2026, the group was ranked among the world's 400 largest companies according to the Forbes Global 2000 rating. In addition, in the latest European bank performance rating prepared by S&P Global Market Intelligence, OTP Group was ranked among the top two most efficient banks in Europe for the third consecutive year.

Ipoteka-bank OTP Group is one of the leading banks in Uzbekistan and has been part of OTP Group, one of the leading banking groups in Central and Eastern Europe, since 2023. Ipoteka-bank OTP Group holds a leading position in the Uzbek mortgage market and is the sixth-largest bank in Uzbekistan with a 6% market share by assets. Drawing on OTP Group's international experience, the bank is consistently developing solutions aimed at long-term customer support. This helps them manage their financial resources with confidence and feel stability at every stage.
