The incident occurred in the Zaamin district. A Lacetti driven by an inspector of the Jizzakh Region Road Safety Department crashed into another Lacetti that had stopped behind a turning truck. As a result, a 35-year-old man traveling as a passenger in the car caught in the middle died.

The accident took place on the night of September 26 to 27 in the Yoshlik neighborhood of the district. While driving a Lacetti, 34-year-old D.A. stopped behind a truck that was turning left ahead. At that moment, a second Lacetti, driven by 27-year-old J.A., an inspector of the Jizzakh Region Road Safety Department traveling in the same direction, crashed into it from behind.
As a result, the Lacetti in front collided with the truck. A passenger in it, 35-year-old F.R., sustained severe injuries and was admitted to the intensive care unit of the hospital. The man, who was a father of three children, died in the hospital despite the medical assistance provided.
It is reported that the inspector was driving the car while intoxicated.
Currently, an investigation into the situation is underway.
