35 "Schools of Mastery" by 35 Journalists on the 35th Anniversary of Independence
On the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the state independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a new initiative aimed at improving the professional skills of young journalists is being launched in the regions of the country.
Initiated by the Journalists' Union of Uzbekistan, the "School of Mastery" has started its activities across the republic under the leadership of 35 experienced and well-known journalists.
Within the framework of the project, 20 "Schools of Mastery" will be coordinated by the regional branches of the Union. The remaining 15 schools will operate in the capital under the central apparatus of the Journalists' Union of Uzbekistan. In Tashkent, master classes by veteran journalists will be organized at the National Press Center of Uzbekistan, the Content Center, and various editorial offices.
The classes will cover the most important areas of modern journalism. In particular, practical lessons will be conducted in internet journalism, print media, television, radio, legal journalism, sports journalism, and photojournalism.
The main goal of the project is to pass on the lessons of experienced mentors to young people entering the field of journalism, to strengthen their professional skills, and to prepare them to work effectively in the modern media environment. Students studying in the field of journalism, as well as young people interested in journalism, will be involved in the "Schools of Mastery."
Special attention will be paid to ensuring that the educational process is not limited to theoretical knowledge. Participants will have the opportunity to learn the practical skills necessary for a journalist's daily activities directly from the masters of the field. At the end of the classes, participants will be awarded certificates.
The "School of Mastery" initiative is significant not only as a field of knowledge and experience for young journalists, but also as an important journalistic platform that serves to strengthen professional dialogue between generations.
