Over 500 Uzbek citizens living in the United States and Canada have sent an official letter to Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. In their message, they expressed their full support for the country's ongoing reforms and declared their readiness to actively participate in its further progress.

This letter was prepared by the Vatan Global Alliance in collaboration with leading representatives of the Uzbek diaspora in North America. The authors of the letter emphasized that they do not consider themselves outside observers, but rather, full-fledged representatives of Uzbekistan outside the country.

"Oceans and thousands of kilometers cannot separate us from our homeland. Regardless of where we live, we are all united by our same, dear homeland," the letter states.

The compatriots expressed their readiness to strengthen relations with the US Congress, state and city administrations, and the American business community. They also intend to actively promote Uzbekistan's culture, history, and tourism potential, attracting investors and advanced technologies to the country.

Another important area will be maintaining ties with Uzbekistan among the younger generation growing up abroad. The letter's authors noted that Shavkat Mirziyoyev's direct dialogue with US President Donald Trump and expanded interaction with the US government and Congress are contributing to a significant increase in interest in Uzbekistan.

In conclusion, the compatriots congratulated the president and all citizens of the country on the 35th anniversary of independence.
