A 151-room NH Hotels property to open in Tashkent

International hotel group Minor Hotels has signed a franchise agreement to open NH Tashkent in the capital of Uzbekistan. The launch of the property is scheduled for early 2027.

The signing ceremony took place on November 4, 2026.

The event was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Tourism Committee of Uzbekistan Sanjar Tadjiev, as well as representatives of the management of Minor Hotels and the NH Hotels & Resorts brand.

The hotel will feature 151 rooms, including standard rooms, Junior Suites, and Deluxe rooms. Guests will have access to a restaurant serving national and international cuisine, a gym, and a conference room for business meetings, international conferences, and other events.

As Sanjar Tadjiev noted, cooperation with international hotel operators expands Uzbekistan's access to global booking platforms, corporate clients, and international sales channels. This is expected to contribute to the development of business and event tourism, attract foreign guests, create jobs, and grow the export of tourism services.

The opening of NH Tashkent will expand the offer of international-level hotel services in the capital and strengthen the infrastructure for business travel and MICE tourism.

According to the Tourism Committee, 32 international hotel brands operate in Uzbekistan, managing 52 hotels.

The history of the NH brand began in 1978 with the opening of its first hotel in Spain. Today, the NH Hotels & Resorts network brings together 201 hotels and resorts in 25 countries.

The international group Minor Hotels manages more than 560 hotel properties across six continents. Its portfolio also includes the Anantara, Avani, NH Collection, nhow, Oaks, and Tivoli brands.
