Newspaper correspondents awarded with commemorative badge "35th Anniversary of Independence"
Newspaper correspondents Bakhodir Abdullayev and Otabek Turdiyev were awarded commemorative medals "35th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan." The awards were presented by the presidential press secretary Sherzod Asadov.

Gazeta.uz correspondents Bakhodir Abdullayev and Otabek Turdiyev were awarded the "35th Anniversary of Independence" commemorative badge. The presentation ceremony was held on August 27 at the Center for Content Preparation for Mass Media under the Presidential Administration.
At the ceremony, the Head of the Communications Department of the Presidential Administration - Presidential Press Secretary Sherzod Asadov presented commemorative badges to a group of media representatives, content creators, and bloggers.
This commemorative badge was established by the Presidential Decree of August 22. The decree states that the award will be presented to "compatriots who have shown dedication in increasing the country's economic power, developing entrepreneurship and the private sector, creating new jobs, ensuring the well-being of the population, the effectiveness of reforms in all spheres of state and social life, educating the younger generation in the spirit of patriotism, strengthening the atmosphere of peace and tranquility, interethnic harmony and tolerance in our country, and raising the international reputation of the new Uzbekistan."
Earlier, on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of Uzbekistan's independence, the President awarded a group of employees in the fields of science, education, healthcare, sports, culture and art, the media, civil servants, production, socio-economic sectors, as well as military personnel and law enforcement officers.
