Uzbekistan has been positioned 117th in a new worldwide ranking that assesses average monthly take-home salaries. An extensive global salary index, compiled by the independent publication CEOWORLD, places Uzbekistan 117th among 197 nations for average monthly net income. This study, which analyzes disposable income after all mandatory taxes have been deducted, highlights both a significant global disparity in wages and Uzbekistan's specific standing within the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

**The Global Leaders**

The research identifies Switzerland as the global leader in terms of disposable income, with officially employed citizens earning an impressive average monthly net salary of $8,218. Luxembourg secures the second spot with $6,740, while the United States ranks third at $6,562.

The remaining positions within the global top ten are predominantly held by European countries and major international financial centers.

**Regional Context: Uzbekistan's Place in the CIS**

Within the CIS region, Russia holds a substantial lead, ranking 32nd globally with an average net income of $2,266. Kazakhstan follows as the second-highest in the region, reporting an average take-home pay of $780 per month.
