As reported by the GlobalPetrolPrices portal on July 13, the average price for a liter of gasoline in Uzbekistan was $1.340. While this figure is lower than the global average of $1.47 per liter, it is considerably higher than prices in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and other Central Asian countries.
In contrast, Turkmenistan boasts some of the lowest gasoline prices worldwide, with a liter priced at only $0.43. Other regional nations also have much lower prices, with averages of $0.676 per liter in Azerbaijan, $0.687 in Kazakhstan, $0.924 in Russia, $0.936 in Belarus, $1.016 in Kyrgyzstan, and $1.168 in Afghanistan.
On a global scale, the cheapest gasoline is found in Libya at $0.023 per liter, followed by Iran at $0.029 and Venezuela at $0.035.
Conversely, Hong Kong ranks as the location with the highest gasoline prices globally, at $4.062 per liter. It is followed by Malawi, Denmark, Israel, the Netherlands, Finland, Germany, Liechtenstein, Singapore, and Switzerland, where the average price is $2.265 per liter.
