Those who visited the country for tourism purposes arrived for business, visiting relatives, study, and other purposes.

Nearly 30 thousand Italians visited Uzbekistan in 8 months

In January–August 2026, 28.2 thousand citizens of Italy visited Uzbekistan for tourism purposes. This was reported by the National Statistics Committee.

The majority of the visitors came to the country for tourism. The number of visits for this purpose amounted to 26.9 thousand people. 668 Italian citizens came to Uzbekistan on business.

543 Italian citizens visited to see relatives, and 70 came for study. The number of those who arrived for commercial purposes was 3.
