The agency clarified that 20,100 Italian citizens visited Uzbekistan as tourists. In addition, 556 people arrived on business.
320 Italian citizens came to the country to visit relatives, and 61 people arrived for study. Three people each visited Uzbekistan for medical treatment and three for business.
Thus, tourism accounted for approximately 95.7% of the total number of arrivals from Italy, based on the 20,100 travelers and the overall figure of 21,000.
