"Mysterious" drug ring in Bukhara exposed
Based on the arrestee's instructions, secluded areas in the area were also searched. As a result, 29 more packages were found.

A large drug network was exposed in Bukhara. This was reported to Khabar.uz by the head of the regional Internal Affairs Department's information service, Ulugbek Shukurlayev.
Individuals who attempted to distribute drugs were detained as part of the "Qaradori-2024" event. A citizen who attracted attention with his suspicious actions on Gijduvon Street in Bukhara was stopped and examined in the presence of witnesses. A synthetic drug "Srice" with a net weight of 2.87 grams, which was stored for the purpose of sale, was found on him.
As a result of urgent inquiries, it was determined that this substance was supplied to the suspect by an acquaintance. During the operational operation that continued on the same day, his accomplice was detained with material evidence while selling "Alpha-PVP" and "Srice" for 1.5 million soums.
During the investigative and operational measures, a “Cobalt” car was stopped in the “Nometan” neighborhood of Bukhara district. During the inspection, 77 special packages of “Srice” with a total weight of 457.1 grams were found under the passenger seat of the car.
Based on the instructions of the arrested person, secluded places in the area were also checked. As a result, it was found that 142.9 grams of drugs were hidden in 29 more packages, which were confiscated as material evidence.
According to preliminary information, the suspect was operating as a “zakladchik” through a special bot on the Telegram messenger. He planned to distribute drugs with a total weight of 602.7 grams from Bukhara region to Navoi, Samarkand and Jizzakh regions. It was reported that the estimated value of this "batch" on the black market is about 843 million soums.
A criminal case has been initiated against the detained persons under Article 25 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Part 5 of Article 273, and against the "pawnbroker" under Article 273, Part 5.
Preliminary investigations are currently underway.
