Mourinho puts an end to the feud between Tchuameni and Valverde
Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho has announced his final decision on the conflict that arose between teammates Aurelien Tchuameni and Federico Valverde at the end of last season. According to the Spanish publication AS, the Portuguese specialist sees both players as important players in the team's future plans.
The conflict between Tchuameni and Valverde occurred in the dressing room on the eve of the end of last season. As a result of the conflict, Valverde suffered a serious head injury and was even taken to the hospital. Since that unfortunate incident, the two midfielders have not trained together.
However, Jose Mourinho has decided to put an end to the disagreements that occurred and include both players in the team's plans for the new season. The experienced specialist sees Tchuame and Valverde as the main leaders of the Real Madrid midfield in the future.
“The disagreements within the team should not have a negative impact on the new season. We hope that this conflict will be resolved and the guys will work together towards a single goal again,” said the Portuguese specialist.
Earlier, the press reported that the Real Madrid management could sell one of the two players after this conflict. In particular, the club discussed the issue of transferring Tchuame to reduce costs during the summer transfer window. However, Mourinho preferred the management to keep him in the team.
